Do You Have Any of These Signs Of Hidden Infections?

Have you ever had food poisoning?

Have you ever had a twenty-four-hour flu or the stomach flu?

Have you traveled outside of the country and gotten really sick?

Do you have a history of repeated antibiotic use?

Answering yes to one of these questions may be the clue to solving your health problem – especially if any of the above happened during the 6-12 months before your symptoms started!

Hidden infections are actually very common and can be the underlying root cause of:

  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Brain fog
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Aches & Pains
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Weight Gain
  • Autoimmune Disease
  • And much, much more.

By hidden infection I mean a chronic, silent, underlying infection deep in your body. This can be from:

  • too much bad bacteria;
  • a parasite infestation;
  • yeast overgrowth; and
  • not enough good bacteria (probiotics).

A hidden infection can and will drain your body of nutrients and energy.

About Antibiotics…

Antibiotics are a leading cause of hidden infections.

Think about this: Usually when women take antibiotics, they end up with a vaginal yeast infection, right? This is because the antibiotics killed off the bad bacteria and a whole bunch of the good bacteria too.

If you have a vaginal yeast infection, you are lucky—in the sense that you have found the yeast infection.

But what if that yeast infection ends up in your intestines instead of your vagina?

You won’t feel it, and it will be there for years draining your health and your energy. This is what I mean by a hidden infection caused by antibiotics.

So, how many times in your life have you been on antibiotics? Is there a history of antibiotic use six to twelve months prior to your fatigue starting? If yes, then you may have found the underlying cause of your health problem.

Antibiotics can cause chaos in the intestines for up to four years!

That’s one round of antibiotics! How many rounds have you been on in your life?

Many women have chronic infections, and this contributes to their fatigue. The problem is the infection very, very rarely shows up on any blood work. And when there are signs of an infection on the blood work, it usually gets ignored by the doctor unless you are having fever, diarrhea, and vomiting.

My patient Maria is proof of this. She had been on multiple rounds of antibiotics throughout her adult life, for ear infections and bladder infections. She also had multiple yeast infections. When she came to see me, she was suffering with chronic pain all over and terrible fatigue.

Like I do with all patients, I requested Maria’s recent blood work from her family doctor. What I saw shocked me. For at least three years, her white blood cells were low, and steadily declining. Maria’s doctor never told her about this. He always said, “Everything’s normal.”

Now, your white blood cells are like soldiers—they attack invaders to your body, like infections. The problem with Maria was that her soldiers were losing the war and the infections were winning.

I was so concerned with Maria’s terrible blood work that I sent her back to her family doctor for a full work up. Frankly, I was afraid she had cancer or something worse. But after multiple trips to her family doctor, and even a rheumatologist, she was still told “everything’s normal.”

I knew we had to hunt down Maria’s infection. I did stool testing and found four infections—two bacteria, a yeast, and a fungus—all slowly decimating Maria’s white blood cells.

Once the infections were cleared from her body, her white blood cells went back to normal, and Maria finally started to feel better.
