Can you detox through food alone?

To a certain degree a detox can be done through food alone.


The diet must be focused on detoxification, as opposed to say a clean diet for detox – that diet unfortunately shifts them into the acid side of pH with the addition of targeted nutrients.

As they get moved into acid pH, meaning acid metabolism, it blunts, or reduces the effectiveness of the detoxifying enzymes.  These enzymes work best in the body when you’re on the alkaline side.

The more toxic you are, like a chronic fatigue patient or someone suffering from fibromyalgia, they require the facility of a healthcare supervised program.

For those who have just minor or modest symptoms of toxicity can put themselves on a food-based detox program or a fasting program with good benefit and good outcome.

So, yes Virginia, you can clean yourself up with a proper food-based detox program!
