Her doctor’s tested everything. Ultrasounds…CT scans…MRIs… Upper GI…Lower GI. They were all normal except for cysts on her ovaries.

Here’s What We Did We for Jessica

First we looked over all the tests her doctor already ran to look for clues.

Next we ran any blood work that Jessica’s doctor missed and also did a saliva test to measure Jessica’s cortisol and DHEA. From this we saw that Jessica was in Stage 2 Adrenal Fatigue.

But for Jessica the biggest change happened once we started addressing her diet.

I recommended she do The Plan to find which foods were her friends and which foods were her enemies.

“I was really excited to try The Plan because I’m a regimented person by nature. I wouldn’t have to think about what to make for dinner – it was all laid out for me in the book.

“After the first week I was definitely better! No more pain; no more bloating; no more feeling uncomfortable; lots more energy; and I no longer felt drained by the end of the day. It was like night and day. I can’t believe how much better I feel!”

What foods caused Jessica’s pain?

Coconut. White wine (her drink of choice). Eggs (more than one triggered her pain). Bread (more than two servings a day triggered her pain). Salt.

(Yes, her list of foods is pretty random, which just proves you can react to ANY food – even healthy foods.)

What is life like now for Jessica?

“Life is really good. I’m more productive at work. I have more energy and stamina. I go out to restaurants – I’m not afraid of this because I know what foods to choose. And when I do have pain, I know what’s causing it and I know how to fix it. I have control over my pain!”

What is Jessica’s advice for new patients just getting starting with Dr. Carri?

“Be patient, for sure. And, give it your best try – you don’t know how beneficial it can be. Put the work and effort into it. You have nothing to lose really. Take the time and figure out a routine what works best for you so you take your vitamins and eat healthy.”
